This 12 inch round panel features a beautiful Goldfinch standing on a bird feeder. The bird is 5 inches long and hand carved out of Basswood. The feather detail on the bird has been meticulously carved in. After the feathers were carved, a wood burning pen burnt in the quills and barbs on each individual wing feathers. Then all the field markings on the bird were masterfully painted on.
